Album cover art for New Junk Aesthetic by Every Time I Die
I am not a fan of Every Time I Die but that’s probably because I never gave them a chance, then again why should I? I usually don’t enjoy things referred to as metalcore (for more on that read this year old post), I’ve seen Every Time I Die live - at a festival - and was bored enough to talk strangers (ew), and I do NOT need to listen to a band called Every Time I Die. I’ve never sat down to listen to them as I’ve always had a gut feeling that I knew it would be time wasted and my gut is really good with this kind of stuff.
It’s a shame that the cover art for their latest album is FUCKING AMAZING! Seriously, I get a fucking harder-than-steel stiffy for good album artwork and I just ripped through a fresh pair of briefs over this thing. It looks similar to the works of Baroness singer John Baizley (see here) but I found it interesting that it is actually the work of ETID guitarist Jordan Buckley.
I want to listen to this album purely because of the artwork. Has anyone heard this yet? Is this worth my time to listen to?

  1. thatmoosehigh answered: ETID isnt for everyone. Their first album ‘Last Night In Town’ is the best, i don’t like anything after ‘Hot Damn’
