Independent (Acoustic) - Drunk On Shift
Here is an acoustic track I recorded in my bedroom with the Vancouver punk band Drunk on Shift several weeks ago. This is meant to be secret track (everyone loves their secret tracks) for the bookend of the 16 songs we recorded total. I treated this track as the flagpole at the end of the level in that I mixed it last. I’m still not that happy with it but fuckit, the rest of the album is mixed and I can mess with it later if I’m still not satisfied when I wake up.
Mixing this album has been one of the many many many things that have been taking up a lot of my creative thinking and general head-space lately, which is why I haven’t been posting much. It’s also why I haven’t spoken to the face of another human being (aside from my dealer) for at least a week.
